City of Easley Request for Proposals for Three Separate Disciplines: HVAC, Insulation and Electrical
 The City of Easley is soliciting proposals for the furnishing of all labor, materials and factory/manufacturers engineering certifications to meet the grant requirements for the city limits of Easley, South Carolina. Notice Of Requests For Proposals (RFP’s) City of Easley, South Carolina has received a grant from the South Carolina Department of Energy and the US Department of Energy through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program
(EECBG), for energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements to recipient’s facilities. “Buy American” and Certified payrolls in accordance with the Davis Bacon Act are required.
The project is being funded by EECBG in the amount of $202,680 which will be used for construction costs. The vendor’s service shall include, but not be limited to, project assessment, design, preparation of plans, drawings and specifications, preparation of contract documents, and “as built” drawings. The vendor will be required to coordinate all design activities with the City of Easley.
The Selection Committee will review the proposals, and make its recommendations to the full City Council, which reserves the right to accept or reject such recommendation. Proposals must also be approved by the SC Department of Energy. Interviews may be conducted. Selection criteria includes: Past performance; ability of professional personnel; willingness to meet time and budget requirements ; location; recent, current and project work load of the firm; creativity and insight related to the project; related experience on similar: SCDOE project; cost; familiarity with system.

All RFP Packets will be handed out at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, Tuesday, May 4th at 10:00 a.m. at West End Hall. Please hold all questions until that day.
