ARCHITECTURAL BOARD MEETING
October 27, 2011

The Architectural Board met Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. with the following members present: Mr. Shea O’Brien, Mr. Kevin Ross, and Chairman, Mr. Alan Ducker. Absent from the meeting was Mrs. Gretchen Carpenter, Mr. Allan Fortner, and Mrs. Jennifer McAlister, and Tommy Holcombe, Building Official.

Mr. Alan Ducker, chairman called the meeting to order. There is one item on the agenda.

109 West Main Street-Community Credit–Hugh Moore- presented a sign and paint color application for this building. This financial business is currently located on Calhoun Memorial Hwy and is moving to the downtown Easley. They are currently renovating on the inside and want to update the building on the outside as well to make it more attractive to the downtown area. They want to paint the building on the front and the back a taupe or soft tan color with solid black awnings, and goose neck light fixtures for the lighting on the sign also and on the building. The sign has the same designed that the old location has and Mas Star Sign company is doing the sign. The board was very impressed with this presentation and said this is what they are looking for in the downtown area of Easley.

Shea O’Brien made 1st motion (with the criteria that if they decide to put a goose neck light on the back of the building the board approves it); Kevin made 2nd motion, all in favor. Motion was passed and approved.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
